Setting up an account is completely optional; you can still use the Frontier compute engine to contribute your spare processing power even if you don't have an account. However, with an account, you can:

Monitor how much processing power your computer has provided.
Install the Frontier compute engine on multiple computers under a single account and compare how much work each one has done.
To create a new account, follow the directions on our Web site for entering your information. Contact information is optional.
To use an existing account, enter your user name, password, and a new engine name, and then click Submit.
To use the Frontier compute engine anonymously, click "anonymous user" on our account setup page.
When you are finished with the account setup phase, you can simply close or minimize your browser.
When the setup process is complete, the Frontier compute engine will display a message When the setup process is complete, the Frontier compute engine will display a message indicating that it is running on your computer. You are now an integral part of Parabon Computation's worldwide provider network, contributing your computer's valuable processing power. You can resume using your computer as usual and close your Internet connection if desired. With the Frontier compute engine installed, you'll be able to put your computer to good use all the time!
