The Frontier compute engine's interfacethe the Frontier compute engine windowlets you perform such actions as setting its wait time before initiating work, configuring and updating connection settings, opening and closing the interface, and accessing help.

The Frontier compute engine window contains the following toolbar buttons.

Close |
Closes the Frontier compute engine window.

Options |
Opens the Options dialog box, which enables you to configure the way the Frontier compute engine connects to the Frontier server. You'll be able to configure such settings as the wait time before the Frontier compute engine begins or resumes computing, the manner in which your computer connects to the server, and other display options. |

|
Account Info |
Opens a Web page displaying your account information. From this page, you'll be able to view how much work your computer has performed using the Frontier compute engine up to the present. If you have multiple computers under a single account, the individual amounts for each computer and their sum total of work will be displayed. |

|
Stats |
Opens a Web page displaying information about the amount of work your computer has performed up to the present. |
|
|
|
Start |
Starts the Frontier compute engine immediately so that it can begin or resume processing a task without waiting for your computer to become idle. |
|
|
|
Upgrade |
This button appears only when you defer a prompt to upgrade to the current version of the Frontier compute engine. This lets you upgrade the Frontier compute engine at a more convenient time if necessary. Simply click when you're ready to download the newest version. |

Help |
Lets you link to the Frontier compute engine user guide, Help Center, Provider license agreement, Parabon Computation's home page, and the Frontier compute engine's copyright and version information. |
The main portion of the Frontier compute engine's interface displays regularly updated information from Parabon Computation using html. News about important research projects utilizing high-performance computing such as Compute Against CancerSM, upcoming events and projects, and other useful information are displayed.
"Tools tips" briefly describe what a window componentsuch as a toolbar button, application icon, or hyperlinkdoes. They appear whenever you place your cursor over an application component.
Small icons in the lower right-hand corner of the interface indicate the Frontier compute engine's status.
